When I was with my wife:
Age: 27 (me) / 26 (almost 4 years ago)
Price: £97
Salary: £22k / £17k (at the time)
Payments: £475/month (I think)
Now (on same property, on my own):
Age: 30
Price: £125 (re-evaluated for when I had to buy Michelles other half out)
Salary: £28k
Payments: £630/month
Obviously my situation isn't as straight forward as other peoples, when I took over the mortgage I had to borrow money against the house to buy Michelle's half of it out (a re-mortgage in essence) but I didn't go back to starting again on a 25 year repayment, I carried on from around the 22 years or whatever it was at the time which cost more but I think it was the way to go and I've managed so far on my own
