got the rest of the bits back on the engine











cambelt should be here wednesday and ill be collecting the polished parts towards the end of the week then ill fit it back in the car

im sure specky fitted one and the ratios were no good so took it straight back out again

specky fitted one and the ratios were no good he had one off a diesel thort he get the 150 top end with it

yes i took all 4 rivets out ,

the gasket was 1.13mm that was

top 0.22
2nd 0.58
3rd 0.11
4th 0.22

i used all them and added in another top layer and a 3rd layer to get my gasket to 1.46mm

The engine looks mint again. I love it with the cam pulleys exposed like that!

I thought you had a rocker cover with the "L" part of the plug cover smoothed off to go on?

cam belt and rollers turned up this morning so got that fitted

picked up the last bits from the polishers today and also my rocker cover



all fitted to the engine now













hopefully get it fitted in the car tomorrow and re fit the gearbox when the clutch is sorted out

Only a few bits will need removing as I can lower the engine down slightly and fit the box from underneath , that's why there is no clamps on any boost pipes so it can all move
