More parts should be n their way soon. Just bought a complete gasket set including valve stem seals,head bolts , inlet and exhaust gasket and rocker cover gasket. Not for a bad price either

good work pal, makes me want to take mine out for a good clean up and lick of paint
you blanking your EGR? i didn't bother although iv kept the plate incase i decide to fit it

managed to get more work done within the last week. finally got a new sump and cleaned it up:
dad took the valves out and i got the head skimmed at Hynes Engineering opposite my work.

I did in the end as it turned out to have glazed bores + knackered rings. Fingers crossed yours is all ok though

As you've got the sump and head off it will only be a ten minute job to pop the pistons out to double check mate Wouldn't want you have to go through what I did and end up having to strip it all down again
