As above I got one last month just for big purchases, holidays etc but I'm now wondering if its worthwhile using all the time and just clearing the balance each month.
Any thoughts?

i use mine for everything, just for the clubcard points, 0% on purchases, so get discounts off the things i want for buying the things i need  clear it every month

I used it for anything that I want protection for i.e. anything mail order. That way if there is a problem I can just go through the CC company for getting it sorted.

We use ours for everything and get clubcard points. Pay it off in full every month and it all helps towards a good credit rating.

i use my tesco card for everyday bits and peices just a debit really and then pay if off at the end of each month to help build my credit rating and the tesco rewards are immense.
I also have a halifax one which i use for my car insurance as its on a 0%

anything i know the money for in my bank, i just use my credit card then clear it when statement comes in

This, although I tend to use my Costa Coffee card or Shell points card to scrape windscreen.
And big purchases on a 0% card so I can pay them off over a couple of months if I want to.

0% until July 2011 for purchases above £250.01. Bought a new TV and will pay it off as and when.

I buy anything I can afford, from petrol to toys. Pay it off in full every month and get cash back in Jan (racked up a few hundred quid this year!). Its a Capital One card, great until you have a problem and have to speak to India.

Who does the cash back offers?
I use mine for everything really and pay it off or if its nearing payday and im running low. Use it when buying anything online or over the phone too
