Bound to be losing oil thro the breather system. I've noticed my oil consumption has dropped noticeably since adding this modification

i am just running an induction kit (BFO) and a de-cat zorst system on my 1.6 and i seem to be filling up my oil every 2-3 months......there are no drips on the drive....is this normal to lose this much oil?

Up to 1 litre of oil per thousand miles is considered acceptable for this engine when driven hard

lol mate if only every gsi user were so lucky
gsi engines were made with under sized pistons from factory, only slightly, but enough to use more oil than most cars, and the problem gets much worser with age as the bores are worn

my gsi goes from full to min every week hence the new engine being fitted soon
