and for that matter, what exactly are throtle bodies?

Every car with injection has a throttle body, just that with throttle bodies you have 4 throttles, one for each cylinder

as for how much more, its not very hard, if everything is layed out there and u have a basic idea, i know a set of lads that know nothing at all did it in 3 days
if your know what your doing can be done in 24hours

Yeah, u got the kinda money it costs for a turbo then? Its not a cheap conversion. U can do a 2.0litre 16v conversion and have it running for less than the price of a C20LET, and thats before u do anything!

AS for tuning, around 300bhp can be obtained without forced induction or NOS on the redtops.

And yeah, 155bhp in a small car can be quite fun, esp when u've got the torque to match it.

yeah i love my 2.0 its so torquey,its funny just watching passengers faces drop when i take em for a spin,lol,down side is i get about 25mpg booting it

Go to 2.0L XE tapered throttle bodies
They come with MBE engine management systems (the dogz).

its just easier if its a GSI mate, you need to change less things like radiator, and header tank

u can fit a redtop in any corsa as the engine bays are the same size

yes m8 its been done, but a lot harder to do as u have to contend with the electronic speedo
