Reducing emissions is good.

Would it reduce them enough to be able to de-cat without failing mot?

Nope. If your car comes with a cat you MUST have one to pass an MOT

Ive got one on my Corsa C, they are ok the car seemed to pull better at lower revs but thats about all didnt make any difference to my mpg either.

They are ok to fit but a bit fiddly to tune!

I had one, it improved the Mpg. I know of others who have them and it improves there economy as well. If it improves the emmisions, then it must be burning less fuel, hence better economy.

I read something about cutting a vacuum hose or something on the brake servo to fit it... wasn't paying full attention...

But how would i fit one?

Can anyone put a picture up of one fitted to a corsa, a 1.2 16v would be ideal.

Yeh you have to cut the Brake servo pipe, you may need some overpiping as the brake servo pipe is too narrow, (well it was on my model of car 2002 Sxi) not sure about older models / bigger engines?

Look to this link this is my car featured in the pics if you want any more pics give me your e-mail address and i will mail them to you.
