hi guys
my misses went and purchased a Corsa c ,
problem is as soon as the car warms up the oil light lights up on idle ,
ive changed the oil switch but still problem is still there,
up on checkin the oil it seems there is too much oil in the engine .
about 4 - 6 mm above the max line ,,, Could this be the problem ??

yes too much pressure by the sounds of it take some out asap

sounds like low oil pressure. could just be a sticking regulator valve or a lot more serious. get the oil pressure checked with a gauge.

been told it could be the oil grade ... hmmm ill give the oil n filter a change ... try some 10/40w .. ill keep updated

so changed oil and filter today and hey presto ... oil light off ... it appears the filter had collapsed :@ ... Thank god it wasn't the oil pump or somethin serious :/
