Fair enough but still you bought a tablet when she wants a kindle!

Reader is one trick pony imo

That's massively underestimating how good a kindle is for reading. A tablet won't be replacing a book but a kindle does.

Shes happy with it. Never puts the bloody thing down!

Pow she said she liked the idea of it, and although the nexus wont be as good as the kindle, it will do for her and she can get on her beloved bookface and netmums while also having games to play etc.

I did have a go with the kindle and it was very good, but i also had a go on the books on nexus and it was still ok.

Let me know how it is, if there are any build quality issues, send it right back. I have bought a case and cable for mine so far... Will buy it soon

Had a quick play with it at work as only got it yesterday. First impression is that its light, very clear and easy to use. Got the £15 credit too so thats a bonus.

No issues with it, build quality seems very good.

Just read that on 24th they are discontinuing the 16gb model and replacing it with a 32gb model for same price.

Emaile tesco to see if they will take it back.
