get the gte calipers of Mig for about £40

then get 256mm discs & a decent set of pads

dont get grooved disc's unless you wanna be replacing ur brake pads every 3mths

get cross drilled instead

Go to a breakers and rip the calipers and discs off a GTE/GSi or even Cav SRi then just buy some new pads for them.

I think V-tuning do the V6 setup for £200, but u need braided hoses as well. Good idea if ur planning an engine swap later

best pads are vaux ones with uprated discs, go for a 2l 16v setup, the turbo v6 ones are too good and can be dangerous.

Dont bother keeping the 1.2 calipers. They disks are solid and are generally poop.

Get the Astra brakes with 256mm * 24mm disks.

EDIT: Dont bother with the Astra 8v GTE brakes. Astra 16v GTE or Astra GSi/Cav SRi/GSi/Calibra 16v etc.
