I thought the early Gsi`s with the plastic inlet roared more than the later metal manifold models?

Disagree dude.  The plastic manifolds sound even better than mine ever did.  I remember the 1st one  i heard.  Paul Belshams.  Hooked ever since.  I think it was louder because the air can echo off of the plastic chambers where as the metal ones it just made a noise

yeah but they aint discussing airfilter noises? they decided to spend £200 on something that made the car actually faster rather then sound faster
