Nope, unfortunately not.

I'm not sure if the mounts are the same, but the ECU is in the drivers footwell in the 1.4, but in the engine bay in the 1.0

A 1.4 16v (X14XE) will obviously fit straight in, along with a 1.6 16v (X16XE) as long as you use the 1.6 ECU with it.

Its probably best to keep all you questions in here mate, rather than u2u'ing me, as I definitely am not the best person to ask everything to!

As per your message though:

If you are getting the complete 1.0 car, why not just use that car instead? Swapping everything over to using a 1.0 engine will be a lot of work, with lots of hassle and tbh, I don't see any point in doing it.

Why not just source another 1.4 engine and fit that? It'll be much less work, and more likely to work as well.

If it's an X16XE then yes.

Should go straight in then as long as you have the ECU.

I'm no transplant guru though, I've never done one! Just saying what I've picked up from other threads tbh. Not to say that I'm wrong, but that's what people who know what they're on about will also tell you afaik.

That's included in the ECU as far as I'm aware.

All the injection engines use the same fuel pump.

Ive got a fuel pump out of a 1.6 tigra in my 12v and its absolutely fine.
