Looking at buying a 2002-2006 Honda crv petrol as my work and back car. Golf has gone to its new owner, I work with them and they have already managed to crack half the front splitter off so I get to see half the front end. Civic is on the road with a really conservative map, timing pulled out and a bit extra fuel and on 7psi. It’s not mega fast but it seems to work ok so far.

Might be about to purchase my first Vauxhall since 2010. Found a mk4 astra gsi for £3700. Will use it as my every day car so I can carry on working on the Honda. I figure if I don’t like it I can always jus sell it on later anyway.

made it to the 1k subscribers which is great. had the astra on the dyne the other day, its not as healthy as it was supposed to be but still not too bad. made 248hp. civic to map middle of January. anywhere around 400 would be great. engines apparently take 500hp, but id prefer it to last for now instead of pushing it too hard.

Always liked the GSi, still looks good today.

Civic is a cool project, modern cars suck donkey dick. I bet its a lot more fun then your Golf R was?

depends. its fun because you have to do everything. its also not as good at a lot of stuff that the golf was. you never had to drive the golf fast, it was just fast, all the time. civic needs to be driven hard to be fast. feels like youre on the limits all the time, whereas the golf never did. I don't regret selling it, needed the money to put into moving house, but I do kinda miss driving it especially at 5am to work
