Nic, do you know how to view the total mileage that the car has done so far? I can only find various versions of the trip computer on mine

The only mileage I have in there is my "trip" mileage that can be reset with the button in the cluster. I'm sure I just need to push a button somewhere to switch it to the total mileage but I can't find it anywhere

Don't tell me I need to read a manual, don't have these problems with the Lotus

Yeah mine is on that centre display although it only shows up depending on what you are viewing. Shoukd display when you put the key in the ignition also I think?

Bingo, it flashes up when the key first goes in, and for a few seconds after I turn it off.

4300 used of my 10k per year so far.... in three months. Need to slow down a bit

Meh, it's only 6ppm extra so it was a calculated decision to take a relatively low mileage limit when I was unsure what my mileage was going to be (contracting ftw )

I may do a long stint in reverse a few weeks before handing it back though

Pleasant drive home from work this morning. Guess I'm making my first ever insurance claim, ever. Stone or something from a passing Citroen Picasso.

When i had screen done on my insurance they wouldn't approve the guy i wanted to use, so i told them to stuff it and I'd pay the £500 myself.

The chap did it and i paid him, then he sent the insurance company the invoice anyway and they just paid it without questioning cost be £40 in the end.

Then a month or so later a stone hit it, so need it done again already. Original windscreen for 20yrs and then 2. Pisses me off

BMW are currently allowing you to increase your allowance at no extra cost - Try giving seat finance a call.

I may do that later in the term when things settle down. I did 1200 miles in four days last month, I've done 200 all of July so far!

I do about 250 a month. Hopefully in about 3-4 years time it will be more like average mileage for its age.

Kyle, if it's like my Octavia, turn off the cruise control - it uses the same area of the display.
