No its not a bodge...a bodge is doing something to make something work like taping something up instead of replacing the pipe.

The old shock had to come out either way so cutting through the thread at the top of the shock isnt really a bodge is it when its getting replaced with performance ones from GAZ and using proper springs unlike 'bodged' springs some people use

Oh and also this car apparently beats MK5 Golf GTI's all day long

did i say all day long? i just said i happen to beat one sat night, and i don't need to replace the pipe i need to heat it up to slide it on but im having trouble doing it so i taped it up untill i can get somebody to do it and it works fine so?

I wasnt actualy reffering to the brake servo lol i was just using any old pipe and tape as an example of how to bodge something as apposed to doing something because theres no way else you can do it.

And i need to go out in the car again to really see whats its like as when i went out in it before it was running kinda like a bitch.

wheel bearing went wednesday night and the wheel locked up so i had to be recovered home, today i got the hub back with the nice new bearing in so that will be fitted later
