it only missed on half throttle, full throttle was fine and i haven't bodged anything to do with the engine, i have done everything to how i was told to do it by either rich or the xe guide on here. since rich fitted the new afm it ran mint and is still running mint.

no the fuel lines are on the right way mate the afm was making it over fuel and missfire but as i said on full throttle it didn't missfire at all, all fixed now though and drives perfect. tappets are fine after a good drive, i cut it but that was bodged anyways and as for the brake servo pipe rich told me to tape it up and he would come down and do it for me as i had trouble doing it, was loom tape not masking tape.

so just to sum up the reason the engine was missfiring was because the afm had gone, it now runs perfect

ye but using a grinder to get a shock off is classed as a bodge mate.

small update i've bled the brake system today and got a nice pedal again, i've fixed the speedo, fitted my depo's again and tomorrow i've got to fix the exhaust as its been nocked back abit so doesn't go on the rubbers propperly, so the center bit keeps coming off then its getting there again
