Hey peepz

In an attempt to find out why my cam timing has been odd lately i checked the coolant pump is aligned right...

Looking in the haynes manual it says to line up the step round the edge of the water pump with the notch in the engine block.

Theres no such notch around there, cleaned it up and running my fingernail round it theres no raised or dipped marks to line it up with.


How do i line it up right?

old type have a dip new type will only bolt on 1 wat as the cutout is for the bolts only

Mine had a slight "cut" in the block to align it with
