when i put the foot down i get a rattling noise from the engine, drivers side i think its coming from

it goes away once the revs go up

any ideas?

visually check when the engine is running and fell for play when the engine is off, if you like having fingers.

hav u got a cone filter cos mine rattles wen a put me foot down if not a dint hav a clue

yeah ive got a cone filter but its only started rattling today

My old A4 was rattling before i built the revs up. It turned out to be the fan belt. Could be an alternator bearing or something aswell.
