did a system restore about a month ago

deleted a spread sheet i need any way of getting it back?

A system restore wont bring a file back IIRC...its only system settings

Could be wrong but i'm sure i've tried it before

if your using vista - right click on the folder it was in, goto properties, and choose the "previous versions" tab

Download a data recovery program.

Get data back is a good one.

Check torrent sites.

got the get data back program but all the files it shows is files with numbers

how do i know which it is?
