Right i was thinking of getting an XE and lost out on one that was local on ebay by £5 and was thinking an SEH engine would be nice aswell because their bloody cheap and i think they sound better than redtops and can probably get 150bhp out them pretty easy, the question is, is it just the same mounts as a redtop, same wiring 22spline and cavvy cv's etc?
cheers

Same mounts & drive shafts anyway, 2L conversion kit is all the same for the 8v & 16v.
Not too sure on the wiring, I think its much the same.

i put one in my old nova, was quite good with plenty of power untill the big ends went.
was then replaced with a 20xe which was quite a bit faster tbh

mmm the thing is if i got an SEH that would be a saving of about £200 or round about and i could use the saved money on extra BHP but i don't think £200 could get it to 150BHP and if i were to get a redtop it will probably respond to tweeks better.
