when driving ive noticed the gears crunch a little into third, enev when the clutch is fully pressed in.
Ive come out to tighten my clutch cable, but when i use a spanner to tighten it through the rubber block it just keeps slipping back?
help appreciated

put a metal nut on the back of the plastic block. if you dont have a nut with the right thread bodge it with an electrical connector block as a temporary measure.

im just seeing if i tighten it a bit extra it'll pop it into third more

yeh dave it worked 
ive just tightened it all the way as there was only a cm left on the thread.
seems to go in easier now.
