Have looked at clifford but they seem really expenisve for what they are so just thinking of remote central locking for now

I too would like to get RCL, but how do you get past the electronic immob?

It would just open your doors remotley wouldnt it and you'd still have your key with the immob in to start the car.

Your immobiliser works via a chip in the key. If they key is near the ignition barrel, it doesn't really matter how you get in the car.

You can get a Toad alarm, fitted by a totally genuine guy for £219 off eBay. Totally recommended

Agreed, may seem a lot of initial expense but in the long run i would say its easier paying out in one go. Would give a number of benefits.
