On the way back from a 250 mile holiday trip and on came the little orange light on the dash. Since then the revs keep dropping to bout 800 when idle and bobbing up and down. Sounds like when a lawn mower is running out of petrol lol. Any ideas what it could be guys? Since then its not bein starting very well either, nearly dieing once its started.... cheers

What engine is it?
It could be a dodgy ICV, or EGR valve.

Sounds similar to what just happened on mine, it turned out to be an air leak somewhere around the manifold. Only found this out after throwing hundred of pounds at it on various other new bits trying to solve it. Hope this helps you.

its a 1.2 sxi corsa b . Really annoying me now... taking it garage tomorow, any other idreas before i go?

this happened to my corsa. it was the ICV as Dean_W has suggested.
