how can i get the bonnet open. its sorted of jammed just between open and close. the lever pulls but just doesnt open it doesnt feel like the cable has snapped though. Also the part where you grab with your hand is pushed fully up?

any suggestions?

Tried a bit of brute force? Could just be stuck on the pin. Other than that you'll have to get under the car and see if you can spot the problem...
