hey,
i can't start my car because the key wont turn in the ignition. anyone know why?
also, i've just made the most stupid mistake ever, i left a small toolbox on top of the battery when i was fiddling about....then i forgot about it and closed the bonnet. now i can't lift the bonnet at all, it seems stuck on something...is there another way to get in?

my key does that sometimes - i just push it in as far as it will go quite hard and it seems to work, also spray the key with wd40 or sumthin wen you put the key in

ah the key things ok now anyway cheers, the steering was locked, so i turned it as far as poss. and it let me start it.
how do i get to the engine/battery without lifting the bonnet? i'm worried if i drive anywhere the toolbox'll just melt lol.
any ideas?

i should think it's the tool box that has jammed it, if you can get your hand in through the grill, then find the bonnet cable and follow it to the catch and try opening that way.

the usual catch/level for opening the bonnet? i've tried that, and it aint coming. is there another way to get to the battery?

get a mate to press down on the front of the bonit. not a fat mate (no dents) and pull the lever as he/she presses down
