Well the previous owner of my corsa painted half the inside silver and it's now half silver and black since it's decided to flake.
Best grit grade to get to sand down things such as dash/doors/handles etc?
Looking to re-paint most of it in gloss black so needs to be nice and smooth

120 dry to remove bobbly effect, 400 dry, then 800 dry then 1200 wet, just did mine and its super smooth using that.

just scotch the area, so the primer will stick.
2 good coats of platic primer
3-4 good coats of high build primer
flat with 800's wet
2 coats of gloss black
flat with 1200's wet
g3 then g10 polish
no need to flat the bobbly effect the high build will sort it out.
