Hey, wad driving home and my car cut out about 30 yards from my house, I was on a junction and slowing down at the time. Tbh, I thought I had stalled because the the Engine management light came on , along with all the others, I tried to start the car but there was no reaction whatsoever so I pushed it home and waited for it to cool down.
After maybe 20, I tried to start it and the engine was turning over but not firing up. I then checked it over and tried again after I had a chat with the mechanic. I must ad it WAS turning over normally.
After a 15 mile tow to the mechanics house We tried it again to find after 3 atempts it had started up bu running a bit rough.
The engine is now fine with the occasional splutter. Does anyone have an Idea why this happened?
By the way; I have a 14XE
