Anyone know if the antenna thing can be removed or do they drill through the glass?

Aerial is just stuck on with adhesive, heat it off.

That's attached with ashesive too Jim.

Just liberate both sides with one of those razor blade scraper thigies, the ones with the little metal handle along one edge.

so how does the signal of the aerial get thru the glass if it not connected to anything?

The glass acts as an amplifier for the signal Jim.

There is a cutout in the middle of the adhesive pad on both sides usually.

just washed it, and given 1 panel 3 coats of that scratch x stuff, apparantely its best to keep going over the bits you need to with it after every wash until its looking ok.

going to do 1 panel for now, see how it looks in the bright sunlight
