in my experience - 10-25 miles

not a very good experience at that, breaking down on a 50mph road and getting help up onto the curb from police

I stop, post in the correct place, then move off again when it changes to green.

I'm not privilaged to have a fuel light but from hitting red I got 43 miles which I found out miles from a petrol station

my on board computer says 45 miles when my red light starts flashing but I never let it get below 30mile mark.

my 1.4 8v LS didnt have a fuel light until i upgraded my clocks to SRI ones
