S H I T E

A strut to hub nut , has a fooking diamater of aboout 15mm , lovely.

The head of the bolt has snapped off , with the remains of the bolt stuck in the hub.

Best way to get it out , and I have a welder if that helps

Take the entire strut/hub assembly off the car (yes, remove driveshaft) and use a blow torch to heat round the bolt for a couple of minutes, then focus the heat direct on the stub for a few mins too til red. Cool rapidly with an upside down tin of compressed air (from Maplin), then try unscrewing using the nut end. That, or just whack fuck out it with a punch.

I'd try an extractor first, you've nothing to lose, just take it back and say it was an unwanted gift

jus drill a couple of holes in then shove a screw driver or a pin spanner in. that could work, depends if its seized or not
