Lads,
I have a X16 XE with Mantzel Powerbox, blue printed and balanced.
I'm looking for some cams in the regionof 266 deg.
what I would like to know is the experience of you people who have a similar spec and fitted cams.
Does it work ok with the original chip (superchip in my case)?
Is the idle to lumpy?
How is the powerspread?
I'm thinking in buying DBilas 266 with their vernier pulleys but would like to know your opinion

With standard pistons, you can't get a cam in there which would make the idle lumpy.
256 or 264 degrees is about as much as you can go with.
