My headunit has no where for my remote wire to go.
Is there anywhere else i can put it? Apart from on the battery because i dont want it on all the time. Suppose i could make a switch for it

Cig lighter is best place i think if your HU dont have a remote wire, should do tho.
Also one of the wires going to the rear wiper is only live with ignition on iirc

you could put it on the igntion line that goes in2 your head unit so when you switch the head unit on the amps should come on to

The headunit loom will have a 12v turn on wire in its loom. Should be solid blue.

sometimes the remote wire might also have arial, antenna or something written on it as it can also be used to power electric arials and various gizmos

but make sure that it stays on when playing a CD, some attenna wires switch off when you turn to CD

Yeah im pretty sure it does have an ariel wire. Might try that
