halfords spray cans

I've done and was very satisfied with the results

Depends on what you are doing. If you're just changing the colour then just key up the existing paint, then put a different colour on top. If you are doing repair work you need to put on high build primer over the filler work. If you are painting bare metal you need to use etch primer then some normal grey primer ontop of that.

If you are using rattle cans from halfords, use the Upol stuff and not the Halfords stuff.
