In theory it's not such a difficult task, in reality it's annoying as hell.
Anyone fitted one and what tools did you use? Because of the cylinders either side of it, the only feasible way is with a socket/bar but how do you prevent the centre pin on the shock from revolving in that case?
Any advice welcomed.....

I put mole grips on the centre bit and used a spanner to undo the bolt.

get your hand under the arch and take a firm grip on the inner shock and get someone to do the bolt up.

the centre pin still moves that was, get a spanner that fits it tight and then wedge it so that it doesnt turn then use another spanner on the nut

I snapped three 6mm spanners trying to get the old shock off!
The only thing I can think of is to try it upside down so the cylinders cover the seals. Doesn't look like it'll fit that way though.

ive got one to fit to mine and after watching my brother half fit his then i didnt even attempt to fit mine
if you manage to do it, let me no how you did it, lol

Will do mate I might just source some extra nuts and tighten them over the others....see how it goes.
