Driving the 205 to the airport on Fri afternoon (took it as it seems to use no fuel compared to all the other cars!! )
About 30mins into the journey (40miles or so) i smelt some smoke/smelly stuff.... mentioned it, but caried on.
A few mins later Fee commented about how it looked foggy in the car... hmmm
Pulled over to the hard shoulder, looked around, popped the bonnet - no signs of smoke
set off again, then noticed smoke puffing under the dash, passenger side oh oh spagettio!! Pulled over again and went to work.
It was the housing for the heater fan... not sure what happened, but it was burning up, and still trying to spin so i just ripped the wires out, and off we went again!
no heaters now then more weight saving i suppose!!!!

Makes it handle better at lower speed etc but will be a wee bit unstable at high speeds. Was gonna try it on the rallye but sold it instead.. lol

It belongs to a guy up here, it's got a few scuffs etc on the paintwork but it's perfect for a beginner competition car.
