im looking to buy & fit a set of clocks with rev counter into my m reg (pre97) 1.4i LS, 5 door, how easy is this to do? (would use search but is currently disabled)
what would i need? electric? mechanical(cable) driven? would all connections etc be there ready so its a simple plug & play job or is there anything else i need to fit so that it will read the revs? also would the speedo still be correct as i know some dials start at 0 and others start at 10?
any answers and help would be appreciated
Cheers
Dan

look at your dials there is a k= or a w= number on it,
that dictates weather its electric or cable, you need to match them k or w
i think its k and w but anyway match the letter and the number if you can then youll be fine

ok, will this be on the front or the back of the clocks?
have also found this topic http://www.corsasport.co.uk/board/viewthread.php?tid=319952
as mine is a LS i guess im looking for a set of mechanical clocks, but will double check the letter & numbers.
[edit] also with the mileage, how do i go about getting the mileage correct on the new clocks, to match what the car has actually done? as its illegal to change it?
