So it'll still drive with MAF disconnected? What do I check with the DV? The management light has'nt come on yet. Will have to have a tinker tomorrow.

drive with the MAF disconnected - if it drives better it would suggest that thismaybe the issue more common

If its the same look else where

Is it the originalDV theyare prone to the diaphram (sp) splitting but you would encounter more issues with boost if it was this

Cool, thanks for your help. Its standard as far as I know, but it seems to be boosting fine, apart from the judderiness obviously.

Cheers.

believe me you will know when a coilpack goes, it has fuck all power and stinks of petrol and sounds more like a subaru. Easy way to check coilpacks.

Take off engine cover, disconnect coilpacks one by one. If the engine revs dip badly, you know that one is fine, keep doing it til you find you disconnect one at it makes no difference to the engine noise. That will be the fucked one.

obviously do this quickly as you dont want to flood the cat with unburnt fuel and reconnect the coilpacks as you go too.

If it judders (when accelerating it's not smooth, but kind of lurches, then goes ok for a split second, then lurches a bit more) then yeah, sounds like a coil pack. Had it on my corsa, and was awful to drive, and sounded like it was running on 3 cylinders (Because it was ).

Presume this is the part you'd need to replace if it is the coil?

Yeah that looks like the bugger, I work at a garage so can get Audi to deliver one tomorrow. £20 is a nice price though, at least it won't be too costly.

TT is 7200 I believe but not much point taking past 5.5k

remap allows you to take it to the red line and still pull strong
