Hi,
For some reason, my C20XE is overfuelling really bad. After many problems (See this thread here) I took off the fuel rail and installed a FSE boost valve, to see it that would help. It did, i think, as it started, but it is flooding itself with fuel, as it was doing before. How can I turn down the fuel flow, to stop it flooding itself?

Thanks
Dave A

Have changed the AFM, so its not that. Will try and get another CTS, where can this be found on the engine? Next to the thermostat?

Cheers

Just discovered how badly its overfuelling... Nearly 5 litres of fuel gone in a few seconds, its like the injectors are jammed open, petrol is gushing into the engine, then locks it up

Could the CTS really cause that much overfuelling? I remember now that we had to put the sensor from an nova SRI on it, would this of affected it?

Edit: Found this, so It looks quite likely

Right, changed the plug, it now idles, but very high. Also, if it is revved, it boggs down. However, if I cover the AFM with my hand, it revvs fine, and it idles. Faulty AFM?

Now got a new problem. Even with a working AFM & CTS, it will still not run right.

1. Reversed the fuel lines: One way it will Overfuel, and will just lock up with so much petrol. When the lines are the other way round, the car starts fine, but is idling awful. Also, if you try to apply full throtle, it dies. Also, there seems to be no fuel in the fuel rail, wether running or not (I pressed the bike valve thing, no petrol came out)

What can this be? I have had the fuel pump out, its working fine..
