I fecking hate it..

Cutting in to coving and skirting boards etc takes so long..I don't mind painting walls but HATE CUTTING IN

Got loads to do aswell.....

i feel the same mate, its probably the worst job in the world to do. People who know me tend to stay clear of me when i've been cutting in coz i get very very angry. Even thinkin about it is getting me wound up!

Taken a 10 min break for lunch

Can't be arsed applying all the tape then removing it all...

Got the whole room to do round roof twice
Round skirting boards twice.
Beside wardrobes etc etc twice..
Round window twice



back to it..taken a break at 4-6pm for the manu chelsea game though

taping up is so much easier, especially if your having to do a few coats.

I hate it with a passion, only taped up one room but ended up with a brush and a wet cloth when i did all the other rooms

Still got to tidy up the coving in the master bedroom and i know this sounds bad but i really really cant be arsed

god I hate it too
and we decided to put up a dado rail in the living room...which meant we had twice as much cutting in to do

i thught id be smart and mask everything in my room, a fecking huge attick room with a weird shape took me hours but i was all happy that i prepared the room for painting properrly.... after i finished putting two coats on i tried to remove the tape and nearly every fucking piece pulled some paint off with it.....i could have killed my self

I did do a little bit last night to tr and take my mind off things...

I've got a decent brush Shane....Not that it is hard it takes long..

Cutting in is going round the roof and skirting boards when you paint walls. It's a pain in the ass.

I dont mind it, i can 2 coat an avarage height 3mx2.5m room in about 3-4 hours including drying time.

get yourself some monarch elite purdy brushes and for cutting in i use a 3" brush with a small 1/2" brush for skinny areas.

You've not said, but dont use a tiny brush to do cutting in....3" minimum is better

I end up using my fingers by the end of it, of jst throwing it on the walls like last time

I also didnt put anything under the step ladder, so now the vynil in the kitchen is covered in little marks

any excuse for tiles
