aparently there is a fault with the crank sensor on the car i'm getting.
Are these hard to change or repair???
Are they expensive??

if there is a fault, the engine wont start. unsure on prices. but if its got power steering, the sensor sits behind the pas mount. if not, can get it from underneath id say.

Mine was fiddly but not impossible and can be reached easily with the car on ramps.

Well apparently it's when the car is driven over 120mph the EML comes on but when you let off and let the revs die down it goes???? SteveW said it's the crank sensor but it has no affect on the running of the car, i plan to drive the car for a bit then have it off the road to do a few bits to it so i thought i may aswell get everything sorted.

mine does the same actually the light isnt on long enough to store a code so ive no idea what it is
generally speaking. if there is a problem with the crank sensor, the engine wont run

They are a piece of piss to change. They are held in by one 10mm bolt and the pop out once thats undone.
They cost about £40 from Vauxhall.

Oh cool. Well SteveW told me it has no afect on the running and only flashes on but i just wanted to get it changed. Thanks for your help.
