Can anyone tell me where the crank sensor is on an X12XE.

Any help appreciated.

Front of the block on the left hand side I would have thought...

On my C16SE, the crank sensor is rear of the block near the bottom pulley. Not sure about the X12XE though.

Just had a look and the only thing I could see was this. Is this the crank sensor?

No....as you look from the front of the car it'll be drivers side.

As I mentioned, mine was at back of engine, drivers side.....it's a tiny sensor. That pic looks like it's the starter motor.

I mean the little sensor under the starter motor and above the inner CV joint
