Right i have an E16se (Nova gte engine) in my 1996 corsa, it doesnt start every morning and requires jump leads as the battery goes flat from alot of effort attempting to start it.

The timing has been checked
Leads replaced (new)
Plugs cleaned up and re-gapped

WHEN it finally gets running it cant be rev'ed or it will cut out, and when it starts to warm up it idles at 500-600rpm instead of the usual and normal 800-900 on start up.

When it is idleing like this it is very lumpy, slow, unresponsive etc, but if u flick the ignition it flicks it up to the normal idle speed and runs fine for another matter of minutes!?

I have a corsa gsi fuel pump as the car was previously a 1.2 8v Single point injection

Please PLEASE PLEASE can anyone help me, as im always being late for work because of this to lol

Does it run alright once it's warmed up? One of the first things that comes into my mind is the coolent temp sensor being knackered...

No mate

when it warms up it gets the 500-600rpm idle and runs badly, but as i said flick the ignition and it idles fine, until a few minutes later.

Strange, but I would think it would be something to do with the coolant temp sensor as it sounds like the fueling is all over the place if the spark plugs and leads are all fine
