I am sure you will need them, you could get away with it but its not worth the hassle is you dont.

Just get some double sided tape and stick the fleckers to your bumper just before the MOT and then take them back off.

ur car needs to reflect red to the rear...am assuming he means the little stick on reflectors u get with clear (non e-marked) clusters.....

No need for them obviously if ur clusters r e-marked or standard...!

if your clusters do not have reflective strips then yes you need them.

reflective tape/sticking them on with sticky tape will not suffice tho ultimately it is up to the examiner, and is often missed by them.

B4, u continue to open your insignificant hole, They will not fail you on your MOT ova fuc*ing reflectors, So therefore it doesn't matter!
Now take a goood look at yourself, then stop and think, And ask yourself the question, why am I such an Insignificant twat who tries to flame people sat behind a computer, So plz cut your bs out b4 I end up owning u again,
I didn't come here for a fight but uve brought this on yourself, I posted my opinion and basically i do not care whether it is right or wrong, but i know for a fact that it will passs without reflectors! BYE BYE

@@@@@@ MR 106!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well woopie fucking do dont say i didnt warn ya..
theres one born every minute..

allow me to direct you to the online copy of the MOT testers manual
http://www.motuk.co.uk/manual_140.htm

for your dumbass benefit, i shall quote the relevant section
quote:
Rear Reflectors
Information
This inspection applies to: obligatory rear reflectors only. That is, those required by Regulation to be fitted.
Each vehicle is required to be fitted with two reflectors, one on each side fitted symmetrically

Method of Inspection
1. Check that the required amount of reflectors are fitted.
2. Check that the reflectors are
a. facing to the rear
b. the correct colour
c. in good working order and clean condition

Reason for rejection
1. There are less than the required amount of reflectors facing to the rear or where two are fitted they are not symmetrical.
2. A reflector
a. not facing the rear
b. not red in colour
c. not in good working order or not in clean condition, ie so damaged or deteriorated that its function is impaired

in other words... if the car doesnt have two reflective rear facing strips of equal size and symmetrical the car fails.

to put it another way...
