its had new cranksensor,coilpack and spi unit still wont run? new fuel filter and a compression test!!! at my wits end!!! scrapyards getting closer

does it run then die almost immediately? is the e.m light flashin? immobiliser caused somethin similar on my 1.2 8v

if it starts then stops & just cranks over without spark, if the EML is flashing then it will be the imobiliser, check the key & also the ring around the ignition barrel is connected...
if it starts but stops without the eml flashing, could be either
plug leads on the wrong order
MAF sensor not connected up properly (vacuum pipe to manifold disconnected or multiplug not in place)
RON plug disconnected/wrong value
seens you have a coilpack & not a mechanical dizzy, cant be ignition amplifier
bad earth somwhere to say the fuel pump or injector or coilpack
fuel pump relay fubar'd / fuse blown in fusebox

I've heard of a similar problem before, it was a blocked cat choking the engine.
