can someone tell me what the rough 0-60 of a 1.4 8v ls is plz, totally standard. (cos the performance stats thing says the same time as the 1.2 8v)

1.4 16v is stated at 10.5secs

rovers 1.4 twin cam lump is 105bhp, one of the best for its size

my poo 1.2 8v poss the slowest car ever, the engine in the later 1.2 16v is so much better

its not, hi torq is still spi... its the c14se same as the nova SRi lump

That can't be right.

I had a 93 SRI 1.4 8v and it definitely wasn't 17 seconds to 60 !! 12 possibly

Sri engine is much better 82bhp, the normal 1.4 is summat like 65 or probably lower
