just bought a 1.6 sport B (68k on it)
it has a copy inlet,protec exhaust manifold,full stainless system and a de-restricted airbox with k&n panel with a cold air feed.is it worth getting the standard ecu remapped as i cant afford aftermarket managment at the minute

oh and wat oil is recomended as i want to do a change asap

Nope. It needs to be mapped on the car to the mods that have been done to the car. This needs to be done on a rolling road. You can get the existing ECU re-mapped by changing the EPROM chip. MSD do this for around £300

thats good but i live in northern ireland and it would cost me a fortune to ship the car over to the main land just for a remap would it not,not =many places over here that cater for such work

Try calling Dastek and ask them if they have any dealers around your area.
