Before I disconnect these and let petrol piss into places, do I need to do anything to take pressure out of the system? I have visions of spraying petrol in my face and dying a horrible death infront of the corsa.

there is little valve looks like the same as would be on your tyre mate normally has a little blue cap on it again same as would be for you tyre just take the cap of you will see the inside of the valve push that and stand back a bit that will release the pressure

along the fuel rail mate cant remember what end where all the injectors are either left or right i cant think which soz mate

end of the fuel rail.

I usually just undo the pipe unions and have a rag ready

There is a schreder valve in there that you need to push down with a screwdriver.

best way to do it is to pull the fuel pump fuse when engine is running

i think its for connecting a gauge to read fuel pressure
