I wouldn't say there was much point going too far mechanically modding a 1.2. I'd add an exhaust but I wouldn't touch anything else. You won't get much of an improvement power wise but you'll get a nice sound! Fitting an induction kit can actually lose you power so your'e best off either leavign it as it is or dropping an panel filter in, if anything the car will be less restrictive and you may experience an improvement in throttle response.

Suspension would be a good idea too, the 1.2 isn't the fastest of engines but the car will be so much more fun to drive on a decent suspension set up, which in turn will allow you to drive faster/harder in to windy roads etc. A decent set up will cost around £250.

Wheels I'd stick to 15's or 16's as power isn't really on your side!

you're quite lucky in the way that you're car is already colour coded too, makes it look much tidier. as said above, some nice wheels and a good suspension set-up and you'll be well on your way. you've also got a spoiler on there, which isn't to everybodies taste, i would recommend the spoiler by vauxhall found on the sportier models like the gsi/sport etc, also if you still have the badges in the back saying "vauxhall" and "corsa" etc taking them off would be another free idea. just make sure you've got some tar remover or something similar to get rid of the adhesive underneath this picture shows the spoiler and the de-badging on the back etc
