Without any other mods, verniers and a unichip or mapable ECU they will do nothing much apart from make your engine run lumpy.

cams arent a fit and forget mod, need to be fitted properly and dialed in.

Ye u see i rung Mr.Noble himself, and the verniers wont fit =/ ? ? ? !! I can ave a set of cams for free, its jus the hassle of fitting new valve stem oil seals

i was going to buy a set or verniers to set the cams up, but he told me they wont fit =/ ??
Shall i jus scrap the idea of cams ??

dave A you seem to slag people on alot of threads, LOL. as for the cams if you cant time them up properly then not worth the price of scrap. will need a set of verniers, some sort of ecu mod/fuelling and a few runs on the dyno. not for an armchair mechanic ime afraid.
by the way what car/ engine you got as completely different senario with cams for each engine.

Hmmm i wasn't intedning to try and tune it up myself ... i cud put the cams in and oil seals no problem . . .

I dont slag people off
but what ben has said is correct, you cant just fit the cams using standard timing marks and hope they work.
