i have 2 12" kenwood 300w subs, in sealed boxes with wadding
have wired them bridged, non bridged and together-bridged
together bridged sounds the best so far
but stu is running 1 sub his sounds more bassy than my setup
i dont know if its cos my sub boxes are pinned to the chasis, as stus isnt
i just thought it would be really good "double stu's setup" where as if i turn my system up it just ends up ditorting
any help?
oh yeah the boxes have been fibreglassed "seald" aswell

is "stu" running the same sub and same amp as you?
if you want more SPL, port your box. i've got 1 sub running at 139dB

try removing the wadding, as it may be fooling the sub into thinking its in a larger enclosure which could explain the distorting.

right small update
i used the 4ch amp on chanel a+b set to hp to run the fronts and that was good
so put the subs joined as a circuit on the 2ch amp set to lp and they run spot on
was made up
but
yesterday i put the sub on the 4ch on c+d bridged and i now have decent bass decent fronts and a spare pissing amp
ahwell
might still port them i dunno yet, honestly i think the 4ch amp is just too power full for the subs even joined, and the fact its a van so its playing to a living room sized space

take the one sub out.
Leave it out.
More power to one sub, rather than half the power to two subs.
